R500 Rear center consul DVD will not power up
The rear seat DVD player - center consul single screen type - will not power on. This is a 2006 R500 US spec vehicle imported into Canada.
I am looking for cabin wiring diagram, and how to dismantle the assembly without causing damage.
Looks like a dealer fitted option, but I can't log on to Startek from Canada. Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi, I have the same issue with my rear center console DVD player. Lights on on the lower part (DVD player) and no light or sound on the screen. I have the no info on the Star Service DVD sinci it is an aftermarket product.

Hi Guys.
I had the same issues with my rear DVD unit...sounds like the same model. I first had a problem with the player itself not ejecting DVDs. The screen lit up fine but nothing would play. Went the the MB dealer - $1800 for a new unit. I luckily found one on e-bay for $300!!!! Worked great for a year. Now I recently had the battery replaced at an indy shop. Player seem to be working - lights, ejects, etc. but nothing appears on the screen. No MB logo, no sound no pic. I had to reset some things like the run-flat because of the battery change, I assume. Is there a reset for the DVD screen? I checked wires, disconnected, reconnected...nothing! Is there a drawing or a wiring diagram available?
