Finally a R class copycat, Infiniti JX
It REALLY looks like the R class, similar concept. Neat second row feature that allows access to the third row even with childs seats installed. Will I ever check it out, no-no diesel! But finally somebody else is building what most drivers need, not a useless unsafe minivan or giant suv...

somehow I cant fall in love with the looks..
One of the issues with 3rd row seats in big SUVs is the wheelwells take up so much space and make the seats narrow.. the R is a compromise with larger seats I think.

Hey the Flex is same form factor too! Great layout, engine, ride quality and looks (IMO). Just needs to be better built! Were it so, I'd have bought one to replace our R, which was the most unreliable car we've ever owned (and we've never owned a Japanese car, only German and Swedish).
This JX seems more like Nissan's XC90 than their R-class. It appears to have SUVish ride height, and as a result less interior space than the R or the Flex, and WAY less than a minivan.

Nonetheless, I always felt that the R Class was ahead of its time as far as niche goes.
