New to me owner - 2008 R350 - Question about Auto Fold mirrors and alarm

Hello.

Been viewing this sub forum for a few months and have been a member for awhile. I still own my 2004 E320 Wagon, but recently purchased a 2008 R350. Been able to figure most of the stuff I need on my own, except for the auto fold mirrors.

Whenever I activate the alarm through the remote key (no keyless go function), it locks the doors, blinks the lights, etc, but it also auto folds the mirrors.

Given that this auto fold mechanism seems to be a problem with R-classes in general and specific to my car has actually been replaced in the past...

How do I turn this feature off?

I also plan to put up a separate new thread hoping to add to the body of knowledge on this sub-forum with a great bluetooth product for audio passthrough shortly.

thanks

I'm pretty sure that on my 2010 there is an option for the mirror in the option setup on the steering wheel.

On my 07 R, you toggle the steering wheel buttons and play around the menus to turn the feature off. Take a look at your various menus to see if it's the same.

Thanks - fairly straightforward solution in the sub menus of the dash. Figured this one out as well.
