After the Balance Shaft Repair
Hello All,
I have a 2006 R350 with 101,000 in the MB dealer service shop to repair the balance shaft gear and intake manifold. Under extended warentee. Once this repair is completed what should I expect going forward? Has anyone had this repair done and what has been the final results and performance of the vehicle after the repair? Tyring to determine if I trade cars after the repair and go shopping for another car OR roll the dice?

Even if they replace the gear, there is still the debris that wore off of the gear that is in the engine. That debris can still damage the engine.
