Pictures of your hitch
I am thinking of installing a hitch on my R, and would love to see some pics of them installed. Looking at the hidden hitch/curt/drawtite (they all look the same to me).
Would love to see that the end result is going to look like. I don't want it to be too obtrusive.

Curt hitch
I have bought Curt Class II hitch from Hitchweb for my 2007 R350, not expensive and good quality.
Installation instructions can be downloaded from product page. Basically, it is the same model offered by local U-Haul guys. You may consider use their service to install it too, they charge about $100 for installation, I believe.
I have installed it myself, no drilling required you just need to cut two small openings in the plastic cover underneath trank area, may be done with hack-saw. You have to unbolt the bumper, and bolt it together with the hitch using supplied stainless steel bolts. It took about 2 hours of relaxed work to install the hitch. Resulting in very nice unobtrusive looking, better than original MB they started to install on 2009+ model.

and this is from underneath. as you see, only the squeare socket is extending down, no structure components are visible.
