12v outlet constant on?

Like to know if anyone know if any of the 12v outlets (under glove box, in the ash tray, rear seats, trunk) would say constant on after vehicle shutdown, or would they cut power automatically? Seams a simple answer, but I've seen outlet on my 07 doing both. Like under to glove box & trunk outlets stay constant on while ash tray and rear seat cut off.Can the MB software make them work one way or another? I prefer they all power off after the key is removed. THANKS...

After close the door, lock and unlock a few times with the FOB, it should turn off.
To prove it works, plug in any devices that has LED indicator into the cigarette receptacle at that location (passenger side) then you should see the LED light turn off.
It works for me because I use that plug for my Passport Detector.

I've use the pwr outlets for my Radar, DVD, and Blackvue cameras. All of them running from different outlets. It appears the Radar and DVD are shutting down but not the Blackvue. I wonder if anything to do with current draw... Blackvue draw the least, DVD uses more pwr.

The lock_unlock_lock do shutdown the 12v outlets. However still hope there's a way to program into the computer, automatically pwr down these outlets...
