2006 R350
Climate Control Problems
AC quick working, Dealer updated program, worked for one summer, now it is intermittent. Dealer wants to replace control module to the tune of more than $1200-1300. I bought a used one online for MUCH less. With either the original or the replacement part in place I get a B1006 (9006) error code. States the compressor has a short. But what is odd is that the compressor still works. i.e. - I get cold air sometimes. Any ideas?

Only working intermittently sounds consistent with a short.
