2011 R350 bluetec
Is this right?

Just got my 2011 r350 bluetec. I find the steering a tad stiff and it doesn't have the rollback after turning a corner. I have to mostly turn back the wheel to centre during/after the turn. No steering pump noise, or other noise for that matter.

Any ideas?

Thanks guys.

Did not check for, leaks or the reservoir. Just got it today. Of course that would be a good place to start, and hopefully it would be as simple as topping up the power steering fluid. I was just wondering if there were any others who may have experienced is symptom without th cause being just a top up.

Is this your first Benz? The reason I ask is because when I got my first Benz, a 2011 ML 2 years ago I also noticed that the steering was kind of numb and didn’t have the rollback after making a turn that I was used to in other vehicles. It took me a while to get used to it.

When I got the 2012 ML I found the steering much lighter due to the electric assist instead of hydraulic assist. And there still no, or very little rollback.
