Heated steering wheel AMG
Hello everyone!
I want to change my regular steering wheel on the sports AMG, all would be well, but whether there is a heated steering wheels AMG? it is a pity to lose this option - winter is very comfortable when you sit in the cold cabine.
Can someone faced with such a situation?
Can someone give me original part number of black AMG steering wheel with shift paddles and heating?
Goodluck in the road...

I looked into this for the prefacelifted R Class (2006-2010) and there is NO heated AMG wheel. The only heated wheel is the standard shape one which retails for ~$1,040.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E550 4Matic, 2010 Subaru Legacy 3.6R
Mercedes-Benz is suffering from a major leadership and management malfunction with regards to ensuring that all models can be ordered with a heated steering wheel, irrespective of other options ordered or not ordered. The gaffe is surprising since Germany, like much of the world, has cold winters.
I've tried without success to order a 2014 E-class 550 4matic with heated steering wheel but without the Premium 1 package. Mercedes-Benz USA has been unwilling to help, or even to press the issue to German corporate headquarters.

I found a one owner 2006 R500 with heated front seats, but no heated steering wheel. Is it possible to retrofit a heated steering wheel package? I found a used heated steering wheel on car-part.com and a used steering column switch with clock spring on eBay. Do I need a resistor pack? Are there any other parts that I would need?
Is it a problem that the car does not have the heated rear seats? Would I need to have my Mercedes dealer flash the ECU to activate the heated steering wheel?

it is possible to do it, you need parts from W164,
steering wheel with heating element
lever - A164 540 31 45
clock spring A1714640618 or A1714641018. Y
ou must have heated rear seats already, the same unit controls HSW. Preparing myself for this retrofit.
