No sound from the R500
My wife tells me her R500 no longer has sound. No radio, nav voice, radar beeping or CD. She said she has turned off and on the MUTE thinking that was the issue based on what she read in the manual. It was working 2 days ago, so go figure.
Anyone have experience with such a problem. For all I know she messed with something and disabled it, but I don't even know where to start with this car. I'm sure if I take it to the dealer and bend over they wilkl fix it for some outrages amount of money. I'd kind o flike to avoid that.
Any ideas?

No. I will take a look after i figure out which of the fuse boxes to look in.
Is there some amp or some device that consolidates all the sound inputs? If so, where is it?
Had the wife do some checking for me so I have more useful information.
- She called Sirius and they can't ping the radio. The car says the satellite radio is not available after the console initializes.
- The console shows radio stations and she can change/select them, but no music
- the single cd player behind the console works as far as adding or taking out the CD, no music
- The 6 CD changer in the glove box does not show up at all as an available option
The chimes work in the car and she was mistaken onthe radar warning; that works as well

The problem has be resolved. I found a fuse map/diagram online, don't recall where.
No fuses burned out. However I did pull ALL of the fuses related to the sound system, I think 4 of them including the one next to the glovebox.
The next start, the sound system was working.
