How do you know if you have airmatic or non-airmatic suspension?

I don't have any controls for suspension ride height changes, only ability to select S (sport) or C (comfort), which I believe is for transmission/shift points.

Thanks!

You are correct. Your single "S" / "C" button is for selection the shift program of the transmission. If you had the full airmatic suspension, you would have a button with an "up" arrow on it for adjusting ride height. That would be on the right side of the console controls. Opposite that button on the left side would be another button labeled "Sport" and "Conf". One push gives you a firm or sport suspension setting. A second push gives you a soft or comfort setting. A third push shuts off both indicator lights and gives you the third default setting of "normal" which is somewhere between sport and comfort. Your car will have the standard rear airbags only for load leveling.

You get the second from the left and the third from the right buttons. But all US spec R Classes have air springs in the rear standard for self leveling, regardless if the car's equipped with Airmatic or not.

2010 Gl 450 Front Airmatic problem

I have a 2010 Gl 450 here is my situation.

sometimes the front will drop both at the same time then raise to proper height.

Over night no drop then I start to drive and it will drop both at the same time.
if I do not drive the car for 1 week it will stay raised as normal.
it only drops when either the car is put in drive or sometimes driving but not always.

Sometimes it's a the normal height when I park the car then soon as I open my door I hear a clicking and then immediately notice both sides are releasing the air and starts to drop.

No error messages appear.

When at proper height I can press the raise button and it will raise proper and it will stay until I either press again or get to the speed to lower while in motion.

I will try to do the repairs myself when I can determine the parts needed.

Thank you for any suggestions

Have the same problem on a 2013 GL 450. No leaks or drops until driving for a few miles. Tried new valve and replaced 1 rear air shock but still have the problem.
Let us know if you find the cause.
