Navigation showing car 300 miles for actual location
I just purchased a 2008 R320 with built in Navigation. The map shows me in a different state. No satellites show up, so I assume the antenna or puck are bad. Compass is not working correctly either. Found a Puck under the hood in the passenger air vent. I assume this is the GPS. I read somewhere that it is mounted in the roof, but I have the panorama roof. The car also has Tele Aid.
Can I buy a Fakra GPS antenna and plug it in the back of Command (not planning to use Tele Aid) or do I have to connect it to the small wire that is in the vent area?
