Transmission, Differential, or Axles?

I was driving my R320 over the weekend and I floored it once to get up to speed. It started out normal but once the engine got to it's peak torque it sounded like something slipped. A very noticeable slipping/clicking/hammering/grinding sound. I am wondering if the splines on the differential or at the wheel slipped. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on what to check? Anyone have a good place to order the fluid/filters/gaskets for the transmission/differential/transfer case service?

Thanks

After a lot of searching I found this

It looks like I need a new transfer case.... I will probably tear this one down first....

Same Problem I think...

Today on moderately hard acceleration, I heard and felt the noise you described from the front left of my 2008 r350. Definitely the same noise as in the video you linked to. It is definitely only on the left. Any chance this is a drive axle/CV joint and not the transfer case? Any thoughts appreciated.

I replaced the Transfer Case and the noise is gone. I thought it was coming from the front left and my wife thought it was coming from the rear left. It's hard to locate because the Transfer Case is right under you.

JEEP ITC?

I have been doing some research and it looks like the Jeep Integrated Transfer case is the same as the one for the rclass at 1/3 less. Anyone know about this? They were engineered at the same time by DC so it makes sense.

That would be awesome but it looks like the jeep one can be switched to 2wd and 4wd. Also the input shaft looks a little different. Unless my quick google search showed me the wrong TC.
