Low Brake Fluid Warning indicator Reset?
Low brake fluid warning came on...Yet brake fluid level is just perfect and brakes work fine. It happened right after I drove up snow bank/sidewalk at very low speed. I don't think I hit anything below. I took a look this morning and no obvious damage. The lines are well protected but that is moot since not a drop leaked.
Is this warning only for low brake fluid? Or may it cover other faults?
Could the jostling caused air to enter the system? Maybe the fluid level switch was jostled around. I checked the connector and its fine. The level sensor seems fine as well, indicating about 350 ohms when closed.
MB WSM does not seem to say anything on this topic.... unless I am not using it properly.
Can it be reset without star system?
thanks
