Scratched up command buttons..

Scratched up command buttons..

Anybody know how to fix the scratched up keys on the command of an R-350?

Go to a local sign making shop and get some vinyl overlays made.

2005 C240 2011 R350
wow never seen anything like that! how did that happen? I have a 2005 C class with 200K km, and my 2008 R had similar... but not a scratch anywhere near that. How did it happen? I didn't even think the plastic was white!


looks more like paint!


anyway... only way really is to get perhaps a broken one and replace the parts.. Lots of work but the front panel can separate from the electronics


saving that.. previous poster suggested a good solution. Put stickers on!

My theory is because my wife uses a lot of lotion on her hands and some other beauty products which rubs on the buttons of the panel. It's her car by the way.
My R-350 has 169,000 miles (271Km) by the way.
