Front Differential club
My 06 R500 70000 miles has join this all to common R ML GL 4 matic club
I am having a hard time finding a shop that will due bearing change. I am thinking of doing differential swap. Has anyone tried Mercedesdifferentials.com They offer rebuilt front diff for 1699. Any other rebuilt options. Based on how common this issue is a little unsure of salvage yard option

No problems with my front diff yet (fingers crossed). I recall seeing a DIY somewhere showing the bearing replacement.
Also, watch out for new bearings. These ones were affected by the counterfeit bearing scam a couple years ago, and there are still a lot out there in inventory.
