Hatch not working from FOB

Hatch not working from FOB
Hello, my first post here. Recently bought an R320 2008, and the hatch woks only from the rear handle and not from the fob or the door button. Is there a setting to deactivate this or is a malfunction? Also the parktronik is not working but have no error message, I can hear it beep when I turn it on but not when closing to an object. Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately I'm not much help with the two issues you listed but there is no 'fob/hatch' setting that I'm aware of, so it does sound like a problem...
Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable users will be more help!

Does the hatch work if you unlock the car first? If yes, it's a little quirk that I would recommend trying to live with. If no, you likely need a new lift-gate module. It's in the trunk area under the floor panel to the left of the spare tire. It's a 5" x 5" BY 1" black or silver box.
