2008 R350
2008 R350 ESP and Brake Light on.
Hello, I have a 2008 R350 that we just purchased from a private parts. We drove it home with no problems and the next day it is displaying the ESP light and brake light on the dash. The R350 is also now not going into gear what's so ever. Any help would be great on this. I scanned the R350 and it displayed the following codes: P2158 and U0121.

U0121 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH ABS CONTROL MODULE
i disconnected the battery for a short while and it reset all the lights and everything would function until you drive the car again.
Car has been taken to an independent specialist so we can get a proper fault readout with star diagnostics the indy originally said the fault was the battery this has been changed but the fault is still there know he is saying the esp module is faulty and needs replacing at a cost off £1200"
