06 R350 Engine removal

Hello,

Has anyone pulled the engine on their R350? I wanted to know if it can be pulled from the top vs. dropped out the bottom.

Also, is it possible to get the startek info on dvd vs. paying the ripoff 60$ DAILY online fee. Unbelievable that you can't seem to buy a repair manual, but have to subscribe to a crazy overpriced service.

Thanks

CM

I pulled my motor out from the top complete with heads, manifolds etc. once you remove the cross brace and wiper panels access is good. Took me about 3 hours taking my time

Wow, was that 3 hours from start to engine out? That's not bad.
