2015 Cadilac Escalade ESV, 2010 MB R350 Diesel
What is your usable power range in rpm with the diesel

When I punch it, I really notice that when the rpm nears the 3500rpm, the power really drops off even though the rev limiter looks like it is at 4500rpm. What do you guys see performance wise? A lot of other diesels will rev nicely past the 4500 rpm.

this is a large diesel. what experience do you have? a smaller 4 cylinder probably can rev faster... but hey you have 400lbft of torque online at very low rpm you don't have to rev high!
