iphone 7?
Trying to connect an iphone 7 plus to the 30 pin with the lightening adapter and it will charge but will not play music. The phone sees the adapter as a docking port. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car is a 2010 R350 w251.

Do you have the proper Apple a/v adapter? I ask because the aftermarket ones and the basic charging adapter do not have the same capability. The a/v adapters actually have an ARM processor in them - that's why they are like $80.
