recommended wheels and Tires
hi all,
i'm a new user here.
i own a R300 L 2011.
my stock rim is spec is 255/55R18 8Jx18 ET67 5x112
i would like to upgrade the wheels to a 20 inch, but i'm not sure what maximum offset i can go so that the wheels do not comes out of the fender.
also, what tires size is optimal for comfort. the roads that i drive in are a mixture of 30% potholes of all sizes/ 30% tar asphalts/ 30% concrete cement roads. can i go above 55?
thank you.

Since the speedometer is way off on these vehicles, you can keep the aspect ratio just about the same. There are other posts on here about tire sizes and offsets.
I would suggest driving with a gps and see how much the speedo is off by and then you can adjust tire size from there.

My speedometer is spot on or sometime off by no more than 1mph measured by independent GPS. GPS will vary by that much on an instant reading.
