Intake manifold runner ?!?!?!?
Hello to all, i recently got that code : p2005. Intake manifold runner comtrol stuck open bank a2. So, i got on the internet and found out the job takes around 5hours including remooving the turbo and and so on ( it's, 2011 350 bluetec ) to change whether an electric motor or more likely a badly designed plastic thingy that eventually brakes........ Was wondering if any of you had any experience with that issue, or if any of you knows if there has been a recall on that particular part !!!! Thanks a lot !!

hi there, so, little update on the situation, if anyone has this same probleme : i fixed it, temporarely, i know, but still : 9 dollar fix : unclip the tube that comes from the intercooler, and spray a full can of trottle body and intake cleaner in the intake, and runner seems to moove freely again !!!

no, lol, engine running during cleaner spray..........idle, then assistant get's the engin rev up to 1500 or 2000 while u spray few seconds....( 3, 4 max ) listen to engin sound while you do.....and then let the engin idle few seconds.........repeat..........
yep, if you spray engine off, then turn the key, BOOM, IF it even starts.....
