R-320 Leaning

I recently bought an R-Class R320 2006 model. The car has been alright however I notice that it leans to the left when parked. This happens overnight. I have read many post and it appears that a lot of trial and error goes on before the problem is resolved. Being a new owner I want to help in pointing me to a specific area as I dont want the garage to skin me off and not get the problem solved.

Please help if you have been through this loop before and how you got around it. Thanks!

Do your R320 have full airmatic? It hasn't happened to me, but from what i read usually is just the airbag leaking. You just need to replace the airbag and should be all good.

Do them in pairs

In my experience with air suspension do both rear and fronts at the same time. Not just the corner that is lowering. On both my BMW and MB I have found it better to swap in pairs. Arnotts rear is about 350 and is a very easy change. Takes longer to jack the car up then to change the bag. Fronts are a different story. They run around 1000 for strut/bag assembly. I tried just changing front bag but I did not have good success. Would change complete strut assembly. I would say rears are easy. Fronts are moderate to hard very doable with good tools

Convert them to coil overs and be done with it forever.

R350 Bluetec 4matic 2011 and..........hyundai elantra 2016........
about that coil over thing .....

could you point me to the right direction for a coil over ? use existing kits ? use springs from other cars ? ( think it would be cheaper to use things from other cars.... ?) and then, there is the question about how to get bottom and top plates for the springs ?

AND, big question, what you do with the compressor, valve block and shure check engine light that goes with them not detecting the bags ?????

You pull fuse 40 for compressor from engine fuse box and only light that occasionally comes on is visit workshop when I go over 80 and the car notices it's not lowering. I think they even have a fix for that, but it's all there in the manual. I recently did it to my R500.

I do recall that for the rears, you can use Jeep Grand Cherokee shocks if you want to go cheap... I think there was a user here that did it or maybe the other forum.
