Just did 7000 miles on the oil change. Went to add the Adblue and it was still right to the top from the last fill up last oil change. I would have thought that the CELL would be illuminated, but no. If no Adblue is added to exhaust, is the particulate filters being clogged up. Checked everywhere for info but nobody talks about this problem. BTW, car drives like a top. It now has 90k miles on it.
Thanks

Rob

I dont think you need to worry.
There are a number of wiki threads on the bluetech system if you care to read
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diesel_exhaust_fluid
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlueTec
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_OM642

The particulate filter is not affected. the DEF fluid may not be added all the time.. depending on operating conditions

Why do you change your oil so often? every 16KKm should be fine.. empty the water from the fuel filter every oil change and change the fuel filter every second oil change.. btw I used to have an R320 I have a few fuel and oil filters left over. If you ever drive to montreal I am a 2 minute detour off of exit 22. I could sell them to you real cheap!
