Found the answer
1. Use motor to turn mirror lenses as far down to the ground as possible.
2. At the top of the mirror lense, just behind you will see a spring clip running along the back of the mirror, use a flat screwdriver to lever this upwards a fraction and the mirror will become loose. Gently push the mirror lense off the motor.
3. Now you can unclip the mirror and change the lense if needed.
4. For the repeater change, unscrew the black retaining screw and the three outer retaining screws on the motor.
5. The repeater will now be loose.
6. Next push the entire mirror housing forwards. Ie towards the bonnet, look inside towards the right where you would expect the end of the repeater to be and you will see a white plastic retaining clip. Push this in, that releases the other side of the repeater lense
7. Pull the repeater lense slightly away from the housing and then pull it towards you away from the car, not too aggressively as that white retaining clip is part of the electrical connector.
8. If not done so already, pull out the rubber grommet that holds the downwards facing bulb. This can be fed through the gap once the repeater is out.
9. With the lense free, lift up the grey plastic piece that holds the electrical connector in place and unclip the connector.
10. Fit in reverse.
