R500 power steering proportioning valve leak ??? O rings
Hi, just got my new ride.....r500 from 2006 . it has a leak on the proportioning valve ( power steering ) and, before getting a new valve for lots off dollars, i woul like to try changing the o rings.......can someone point me where i can get them, seems i only can get the compleete valve.....thanks

I think those are butyl rubber, for chemical resistance.
You could take it to NAPA and have them try to match
(putting on my flame-retardant suit here..!)
, or if you have a Harbor Freight near you
, buy an assortment of metric O-rings. About $10 for 50, various sizes.
Really, matching is just material suitability, cross-section, and diameter of the ring.
