How to turbo/super charge an R500 ??
Hi
So, like my R500, find it far more responsive, dynamic to drive then yhe wifes bluetec R350..... Wondering still, cause im kind a found off the odd sleeper car thing, could there be a way, jas that be done already, to put whether a supercharger or a turbocharger on my r500 v8 ???
Actually thinking about something low boost not to change snything into the engine nor gearbox.....
I know, there are issues, taping into an oil line in and out for the turbo, then custom ( are som for sale as kits ?? ) manifolds for the turbo, some way to set the wastegate properly, ect......
So, any inputs would be greatly apreciated......thanks a Lot

Yes... I thought of the same and actually plotted it out with a mechanic. Would need one small turbo after the cats and feed it back into the intake. Has to be under 6psi boost to stay under 500hp/500tq to make sure your transmission can cope. Total cost was about 5k.
Might be cheaper to buy a 55 amp engine and retrofit it actually.
