R350NYC

Hi,

So its just one problem after another on what is my 2008 R350 with 59k miles on it. The main battery seems to have died as my key fob does not unlock my car anymore. What is surprising is that I replaced my aux battery a few months ago which I would have hoped to have at least backed up my keyless entry system.

Anyway, I tried to use the key to unlock the car and the darn thing doesn't turn right at all. IT turns left just fine but there is a lot of resistence when turning right and I felt like I would just break the key if I put more pressure on it. Am I doing something wrong here? Why does everything with a mercedes have to be so complicated?

Any advice is appreciated.

Figured it out. You turn the key to the left and hold it there. Then pull the handle. I had to do this a couple times for it to unlock.
