C/S Button
The manual says the comfort/sport transmission button should stay in the last position after you restart the car. My always defaults to the comfort setting. I like to use sport. Is there a problem here or am I doing something wrong>

Depending on what year your vehicle is or whether you may have had the transmission software updated.. After a certain year model, it will always default back to C.. I thought I had read somewhere that performing a software update of the transmission might also cause this. Not much you can really do about this honestly.. More of an annoyance like the newer cars with the Eco Stop/start systems.

My 2011 R350 always reverts back to the [E] rather than [S] that I left it at. I've learned to live with it and select [S] when I think about it.

Quite possibly there is a way to set it to default to S using a Star/DAS link up. Next time I'm in a shop that has one, I'll ask about it.
