Limp mode DPF

So I took my R350 out to work Tuesday morning and immediateley noticed a lack of power. She would not rev over 2200rpm but otherwise I could drive. Just with really slow acceleration. When I returned home I hooked up my good old icarsoft i980 and checked the code.
"11DA00 The lower limit value of B28/20 (DPF) was dropped below or not reached" I reset it and came right back. So I went to the actual values page and read that the dpf pressure was 17hpa's at idle. Seems a bit much but what do I know. The interesting thing is that it never changed no matter how the engine was revving. So that seems to tell me that the differential pressure sensor is not working.
So I removed it and cleaned it with some contact cleaner. The fluid came out black and sooty. I cleaned it about 10 times then let dry. Installed it and reset the code. So far so good after two days. Hopefully it stays good while I look for a new sensor.
Anyway, that was my dfp pressure sensor. Hope it help someone in the future.

Yes. Just clear the code and the computer tests that module. Its a great little tool for 160$ though it does not do nearly enough things to be a perfect tool.

Yes. There is a LOT it can't do. One cannot activate systems and controls and can't adapt parts to the computer. Also it can't explain system problems. It just gives a code and a few actual values
but for 75% of day to day problems it's amazing

I'm not sure about that. I don't believe so. But reset service announcement is done right on the dash. Do you know how?
it's pretty simple takes 5 mins or less
