2011-12 R350 repair manual? available?
Hey guys, so my wife likes the look of the face lifted 2011 R-350, doing research on them now, one thing I noticed is production for the year is about four thousand and for 2012 thirty seven hundred, 2006 they made the most of the W251 ,pretty low numbers and makes it rare! at least the 2011 and hard to find for sale, she only wants the arctic white, I have done all my own maintenance on my Benz's for the last 20 years and would do the same for a R350, personally I would rather find a low mileage 2008 model, only year made with rear wheel drive available, I don't need 4matic headache's, but she likes face-lift only.
So what kind of repair manuals are out there for the W251? also what kind of code scanner would I get?

try to avoid the older models and diesels. I doubt any where made with RWD only, particularly for the US market. It was initially built on the same assembly line as the ML. Same basic platform. lots of W164 parts.
You can get manual subscription at AlldataDIY.com probably your best bet. it works for me. Gives you 99% of what you need.

Thats what I thought????, I found about 10 RWD selling on used car sites in the US, it even say's RWD in descriptions, 2008 was the only year it was available, if you look at some of that year, the 4matic is missing from rear .https://www.edmunds.com/mercedes-benz/r-class/2008/features-specs/
