I believe I read somewhere that it is possible, but I was looking to find out if anyone has done it. I have a 2007 R320 with the 2nd row seating that has just the 2 seats and a mid console. We have a big family and it would be more convenient to have a 7th seat. Im guessing it would require removing one of the seats and the mid console and swapping in the setup for the two seats instead. My questions that make me wonder if it is possible, is, would it bolt to the floor still properly in the same location for the seat mounting and seat belts functioning etc.

What color is your interior? I have the Tan colored 7th seat and mounting plate and would be willing to trade for your middle console and arm rests. Hell, I'd even swap them all out myself if you like(I am a former, factory trained MB tech). My seats are in perfect shape, no scuffs, discolorations, rips, or tears. I'm in Austin, BTW. I see you're also in Texas?

Interesting. Are you folks saying it's possible to turn a 7-seater back into the six seat with captains seats? If so, what needs to be done? Is this a year-specific project? I'm looking a 2009 (black interior) 7-seater that's I'd love to make into a six. thanks!

Thanks. I appreciate the offer, but the deal on the 7-seater I was buying fell through. I'm still looking for a (single owner, all maintenance, no crash, low mileage) R350, though I'm getting close on throwing in the towel and start looking at GLs.
