Smartphone does not see MB Bluetooth phone
Hello I just bought MB R320CDI 2006. And I cant connect my phone to R class bluetooth phone. I have that module in front armrest, I press button for 3 seconds so module is in discovering mode. I have enabled bluetooth on Sony Xperia z5 compact and I am searching for MB Phone but it still does not appear among available devices... Isnt my phone simply compatible? Or is it possible to update software for R class bluetooth phone module ? The true is that phone is a bit newer than the car

If your module is silver with “fins,” there is a newer version (Black) that supposedly is compatible with more phones.
That being said, I just updated Son’s 2005 E with handsfree including the silver Bluetooth communicator and it paired nicely with his iPhone 7
BTW, the required code to pair with these modules is always MBUSA.
