Actuator issues
Hi guys.
my actuator has been causing me problems. I have soldered the wires a few times now but they still keep breaking. So my question is. Is it really important to get a new actuator with the same g code or can you get anyone? And what is the g code for?

Might contact this company, to ask them:
https://www.turborebuild.co.uk/electronic-actuator.html
, they service the actuators and sell parts (gears, linkage).
Near the bottom of page is notice/warning, for all manufacturers other than Hella (which MB uses) require the whole turbocharger for initial calibration.
The Hella implementation self-calibrates to some extent.
I would feel confident to use any unit from 2006-2008 Jeep/Sprinter/ML/GL/R Class, perhaps even the newer ones.
(Especially if you picked it up cheap to try/test)
