I own R-350 2012 and wonder if anyone can help me locate the fuse for the headlights. I connect to fuse box in engine however the star is on day and night, as a result this is my third light that i install burns out the LED after a year or so continues. I appreciated any input.
the start lights up? never new that! Mine doesn't!
you should have you fuse diagram tucked in with the fuse box. in the trunk. check your owners manual, should say where it is.
Even so, I dont know why you want to do with the fuse? Why not just leave the star light.. burned out?
Yea ..what you need to do is not connect it to the fuse..but instead connect to the Headlight wire or the other smaller middle light that turns on when you turn on your headlights...best non Harsh way to go is to gently shave the correct positive wire very carefully enough to squeeze in the positive cable from your lighted star and the black positive you can ground it to any bolt there close to there..just unbolt a little wrap the wire and tighten up..and there you go..only will turn on when headlights come on..
I have the original Diagrams that come with the car, is not show any fuse as Headlights. I try with a voltmeter but no luck. photo 1 photo 2
Thank you so much
Lol my friend..what im saying has nothing to do with the fuse box...forget about any boxes..literally open your hood..disconnect your middle headlight the small one next to your headlight ..when you have that wire with the lightbulb in it..shave off sum of the plastic from that wire" ..dont cut the wire...and connect the positive from your lighted star to that one...the other wire is black most likely..wire that to your cars frame somewhere unscrew a nearby bolt..slide in and tighten..thats it...i can show you with pictures but im lazy..lol just try it
Thank you so much, i try but you know the Headlights have back covers to keep moist out. If you connect to any side marker Light or to Headlights you will have to drill a hole on the back covers or leave them off.....
Again i appreciated thank you so much for your input and help
