Transmission issue

Hello everyone, I need you guys help, yesterday I was driving my R500 with 96.000 miles US car, on the highway, when all of the sudden I felt a loss of power, ABS light and ESP came on at the same time; if I let the car roll on its own power at idle it moves very slowly, as soon as we depress the gas pedal to move faster the front wheels tend to lock up making the car struggle to move. After scanning the codes and came up with P0730 meaning transmission solenoid selecting wrong gear ratio problem or dirty oil.

As anyone experienced this problem, and what did you have to do to fix it?

Any help will be appreciated

Looks like ABS/ESP wheel sensor failure. Had the same last summer. Solenoid has a false signal so it does a wrong job but it is probably not the tranny solenoid on defect... I'm not familiar with it but on our failure, the car could not speed up over 5 mph or so... unless accelerating deadly with a big noise and then, after 2 or 3 seconds, a release and ability to drive as fast as the 3rd speed (on 7) could go at reasonnable rpm. THis failure restrain automatic transmission under 4th speed (ie 3rd speed ratio or less). Hope this will help
