Level control valve block (air suspension) bumper off?

I am about to fit a new level control valve block into my R350. It's my last option as I replaced the right front strut and it is still sagging to the right.
According to the manufacturer's manual you will have to remove both grille and front bumper to get to 2 bolts which hold the block or its bracket.

Is there any way around removing the entire front bumper? Anyone succeeded in removing the valve block without removing grille and bumper?

Your comments are appreciated.

PS: ripped air hose to compressor (as seen in picture) has been replaced.
