Loose, noisy front end?

Hello
2011 R350 Gas 120K Miles. Front end feels loose and rattles over bumps, Yet cannot find any worn joint. I purchased a suspension test tool. like this one

but all is solid
What about shocks? Used to diagonse shocks by pushing down to see of there is any resonance. All is solid. Help!

Thanks

Can you describe the sound? I had a worn sway bar end link. I couldn’t tell it was worn when checking from underneath.

I made a post about it on another forum.

Front sway bar mounts are common (not just the end links). The lower control arm bushings especially the rear ones are very common to have play/sag/cracks. The rest is pretty solid/rarely issue, I have heard sometimes the struts can make noise and replacement is the only option no spare parts (not cheap with airmatic). I am not sure if the standard coil spring suspension has an upper mount separate-it may. Outer CV joints are also common for noise and front differentials too.

I bought some Ali express shocks to replace a faulty Arnott remanufactured strut. They are cheap as chips on Aliexpress.

I kept the Arnott airbag and all is working well again - including ADS.

The R class is still sold new in China so the aftermarket parts scene is decent.
