Handbrake adjustment

Hi all, I have a 2012 R350CDi which has just failed it's MOT test (UK) on the handbrake. The MOT examiner told me that there was a manual adjustment on it but I have failed to find one leading me to believe that the comment might have been a blasé one. I have had a good look around at the peddle end with no joy and had the front wheels off to see where the cables run. From that I assume the handbrake shoes are on the rear. Any pointers gratefully received.

the only adjustment is to adjust the rear parking break shoes. via their star adjusting wheel with a screw driver thru the hole in the disk as in most other drum parking brake.

Thanks for those. Did find them on another post whilst trying to ensure that I wasn't raising a thread already covered but it looked like it was for a different vehicle. Will take another look later and confirm.

no problem... ask me about changing the front CV boot and taking the CV joint apart, cleaning it and repacking with grease...

Funnily enough I lazily sealed a pinhole on that boot last year (with a hot glue gun) and I was warned two days ago (by the MOT tester) that it perishing close to failure so it needs it.

Parking brake now done. Thanks again for the info.
