-07 R350 Right rear abs harness connector
Hi everyone,
I got an fault code for right abs sensor last week and today I found the issue.
One of the wires to the abs connector on the harness side had corroded and broke off, common problem in Sweden due to road salt
As the cable is broken just before the connector I cant solder the cable back together...
This leaves me with 2 options but I just cant find the parts for them!
1. Cut the wires and replace the connector. (easiest job but cant find just a connector as a part)
2. Replace the entire harness....
If you know where I can order a connector or harness that would be grate OR if you have a different solution I´m all ears!

Can you call your nearest Mercedes dealer? Or the nearest specialist shop that services Mercedes vehicles?

2006 R500
Most of our electrical parts are interchangeable with 2006-2011 ML and GL SUVs. If you can't find one from an R class in the junkyard, look for one of those.

Both R, GL and ML are not that common in Sweden and junkyards never save any cables before the cars get smashed, after some calls I gave up the junkyards...
Then I called the local MB dealer and the part of the harness I need comes as the whole ABS harness (approx. 5000 $)..... after some searching he then found just the connector as a spare part for 6 $, lets just say the choice was obvious!
Hopefully the issue gets solved during the weekend
