Problems with air suspension

Just got done replacing all 4 struts on our 2006 r500 and nothing functioned so we replaced the air compressor. After doing so the car starting lifting BUT WOULD NOT STOP LIFTING. It kept going untill 3 of the brand mew airbags blew out? Wth? What did I do wrong?

Am I missing something? We just completed all this work and was on a real high once it starting raising again only to be at an ultimate low 2 minutes later when the new airbags blew out.

Any help would be great

Thx

Valve solenoids may have gone bad, level sensors may have gone bad, or a level sensor calibration is needed.
