R servicing :(
Just came back from the dealer for service C and given this assessment and quote :'( almost gave me heart attack. PS: i am in Australia
Urgent work
Right and left lower control arm bushes are leaking and cracked and require replacement
Replacement cost $2625
Left and right cv boots split leaking and are leaking grease We can send the drive shafts for re-conditioning of the CV boots and repair them to remove them is $506 and the reconditioning cost is $200-400
Oil leaks are present around the turbo and we have identified the turbo seal, intake seal, to replace these the cost is $349
The brake pads on the rear axle are also worn to 1mm and require replacement the cost of this is $681
Brake fluid is due for replacement cost of this is $212
Advised work
Fuel filter due for replacement $567
Transmission and engine mounts worn and sagging causing the vibration replacement cost $2808
I am thinking going to an independent mechanic and BYO parts

A lot of those items are maintenance items which will have to be done after so many years/miles.
I just got finished doing most of those items myself except the turbo (don't have one) and fuel filter (not trying to mess with the gas tank right now) and it wasn't really that bad.
If this isn't your daily driver and you are inclined to save major coinage then take your time and do it yourself.
The amount of money you'll save is astonishing and you'll have a better understanding of your vehicle.
These forums and YouTube videos will get you through the process.

These rates are way too high, indeed look for a small mechanic, maybe a Lebanese (or other) immigrant who will do it at a fraction of the costs. Look online for parts, or even possibly 2nd hand parts.
