R350 Constant Suspension Problems

Hi all,
Mine is a R350, 2007, 4Matic suspension. I am having some strange problems with the rear suspensions.

Lets assume the rear suspension are ok.
Then after about an hr of driving I get a suspension malfunction indication in the dashboard and the the rear starts sinking.
If I stop the car and restart it then I get the "car rising" message.
On many days in the morning the suspension is already down overnight.
All of the above can happen in any sequence, there is no real pattern.

This is why I am so puzzled as in, could this be air bags, but less likely becuase in that case it would sag all the time no?
Could it be the level sensor?
Could it be the pump? But in that case it would never be at the normal level.

Any ideas here that could help?

You have a leak. You will need to go around with a spray bottle of soapy water to wet the bags and air lines, looking for bubbles (air leaks).

Once found you'll need to address the leaks, or have someone fix for you.

OK. But can "I" do that. I suppose you meant to hire someone to do this right?

One of my airbags in the back had to be changed. Before I did so, it would sometimes go down while parked, sometimes not and this lasted a couple of years or more unti I replaced both. I'd say there's a good chance that you will solve it by changing them. They are found on ebay for 50 euros a pair.
