R 500 2006 battery was replaced, Command wont boot up.
Hello Members,
I recently got an R500 L 2006. It has been an amazing car so far, and the battery died. This was expected, as it was on its way out, and the battery was replaced. The car worked fine after that, but then, the next day, Command turns on, the Mercedes Logo comes on, and then it just shuts off.
None of the rear entertainment screens are responding either.
I was able to eject the CD from the system.
Another point to note is that the CDC player is disconnected as it doesn't show up in command.
I saw a few videos on youtube, showing the use of a fiber-optic cable to by-pass the telephone module on an ML 500, with the command unit the same as mine, with the same issue.

If this cable is to be replaced, does anyone know the location of this module in the car? ( the car is a Right hand drive varint)
