Part Search - Liftgate floor sill plate R350

Hi, I am requesting help determining the part number for the sill plate on the floor of the liftgate opening for the W251, model year 2008. All my internet searches have come up empty. Perhaps I’m calling it by the wrong name? But it’s the covering that goes across the floor with silver aluminum plates on either side of the latch. Those plates are mangled and coming up on my car

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Thanks B34chBum, no I don’t think that’s it. That looks like a cover on the bumper itself. I’m trying to identify the plates that go across the opening on the interior floor. I would call it a door sill but I haven’t had any success yet.
thank you for replying.

i might have found it. It’s called a trunk scuff plate. This may be it. The link you provided got me close then I was able to do some other searches and came up with: 251-690-01-00-9051. I’ll do some more verification before ordering. Although our car has a nice aluminum trim plate on either side of the latch and the diagram doesn’t really show that.

Thank you

Glad it was useful.
Yes, good to triple-check.

I've found that the ilcats site might not show the most recent numbers. Is good for finding the original ones.
But even with that, is possible to get mixed up when looking around by looking on close but not correct diagram.
And with 2008 model cars the split year can be a gotcha for some parts.
