Bad throttle lag after slowing down - need help
Hey all!
I recently picked up an '06 R350 that just developed an accelerating issue. For the first about 5 minutes of driving, it is completely fine and drives normal. After that, it begins having issues accelerating after slowing down for a corner or traffic. After slowing down any amount, it has a bad lag before it will accelerate again, anywhere from 2-5 seconds after pressing the gas pedal. When I press the gas pedal down, the RPMs won't move at all for most of it, then will go up to about 2k with no acceleration, then jump a little higher and accelerate like nothing happened. If I come to a complete stop, then it will take off perfectly fine with no delay until I start to slow down again.
I have tried swapping in a known good gas pedal, MAF, and throttle body with no improvement. Any idea or thoughts on what to check next?

Do you push the throttle down to the first stop or second stop? The first stop doesn't immediately downshift while the second will.
You can also try resetting the transmission adaptations if you have access to STAR/Xentry.
