My w251 plate holder has a bend that follows the bonnet Ridge.

Does anyone have a method to flat mount the plate?

Attached is the top view of my plate showing the bend.

on my merc there is this plastic reg plate holding block, reg plate sits straight on it. Sure its stock item and can be purchased from dealership.
