Tail gate won't work. Even with new lock
Hi have a problem with my tail gate it won't open normally I have to manually open it. Since then I have changed the lock and the tiny switch and still won't open. Anyone else had this problem and solved it. Or knows how to sort it out for me.

I had a similar issue as my key fob was not opening and closing the rear gate. The license plate switch worked to open but the red button would not close the gate door. Mechanic had to bleed air from the system as he said every time I closed it manually I was introducing air to the system. Now it works fine but he asked me to use the switches on the gate to raise and lower it. I hope this helps.

I have replaced the handle switch and tailgate lock. It not the self opening tailgate just the electronic locking that's not working. On the dash it tells me the tailgate is open when it's not.
