I need to replace the obstruction strips in my R350, the hatch auto opens but does not auto close. I have been searching for p/ns for these so I can buy some aftermarket ones. Can anyone point me in the right direction? P/ns, where I can buy some aftermarket ones,etc.

They're not available aftermarket. I just wired in two resistors to simulate them.

Do you have a video of how you did it? I'm not that mechanically inclined to figure it out. What ohm resistors should I purchase?

I don't have a video. Are you familiar with splicing wires and crimping them at all? If not, I would say find a buddy that can do it for you. I used a 2.7 kohm resistor, but I think anything from 2 kohm to 3.5 kohm will work.

Ok, thanks. I will check with someone. Is this the same as putting a jumper in the connections?
